The Riven Company is a St. Louis based consulting firm focused on building capacity and sustainability for non-profit organizations. Future-oriented and strategy minded, we work hands-on inside organizations to achieve change. We partner with clients to refine institutional strategy and design new revenue streams. When key executives depart, we provide expert interim management and help Boards recruit and retain the gifted leaders of tomorrow. The Riven Company works in four areas: Arts & Culture, Education, Social Services and Community Development. We help elevate the performance of organizations working in these fields by offering a range of services including Capacity Building, Board Development, Leadership Development (Coaching) and Fundraising. The Riven Company works with organizations to strengthen their management, governance and fundraising performance. During periods of leadership change, The Riven Company provides a member of the Company to assume the role of Transition Specialist or Interim Executive Director.

Assistance is also given to help further the Board/Staff partnership that is so necessary for organizational growth.

The Riven Company works with organizations to assist them in developing a process for building key relationships with corporations, foundations and individuals. The process begins with an assessment to understand an organization’s current strengths and opportunities followed by a Development and Fundraising Plan. Coaching or onsite assistance is available.
